Stinger Chassis was purchased by Steve Boyd in April of 2008 from Dave Mueller. Since
that time Steve has been building winning Stinger Chassis out of his shop in Manchester,
NJ. Steve has been working on race cars since his teen years and has used the
knowledge of many years in the sport to make Stinger Chassis a proven winner on dirt
tracks in region 2. A couple of  things have lead to the success of Stinger Chassis on dirt.
First, we like being a small fish competing against the bigger builders in the sport. This
small size allows us to help each and every Stinger owner. When you order a chassis it is
custom built and tailored to your driver. Second, the theory that we all work together as
handlers and drivers to make the cars fast. If an idea works on our house car we let all our
customers know what's working. At Stinger we are not only interested in the house cars
winning but every stinger on the track. It's a great feeling to see a bunch of stingers up
front battling for the lead. Let us help you get to victory lane in a Stinger Chassis When
you win we all win! In 2010 Stinger Chassis expanded by creating Tiger 1/4 Midget Parts. A
full service Quarter Midget shop. We not only carry parts and repair Stinger Chassis, but
repair and stock parts for most quarter midgets.

Our Shop is located in Manchester, NJ approximately 10 minutes from New
Egypt Speedway. Give us a call and see if we can help you with your Quarter Midget!!

Stinger Manufacturing built their first car in the winter of 2000. Rob Anders
en of Mullica
Hill, NJ, drew on his prior experience designing and building dirt late models and sprint
cars to put together a safe, fast quarter midget for his son. The car was one of
the
design
s that had great success. Other competitors were intrigued by the car and asked
about its independent front suspension and unique rack and pinion steering. Some were
skeptical, but few denied that the car possessed superior handling characteristics. "
Unique and Different " were words used to describe the car. It wasn't to
o long before the
most common adjective used was " FAST".

Other manufacturers also took notice. Stinger's performance wasn't the only thing that
caught their attention. More then anything else, Rob gained their respect by not copying
one of their designs. This went a long way within the industry, and Rob maintained a
good working relationship with all the larger Manufacturers. It
's this same philosophy
Stinger intends  to continue into the future.

Over the years Rob continually refined his design. Innovation, testing and forward
thinking were the norm at Stinger. With help from Rob's dad and a group of loyal Stinger
owners, each year brought more improvements and more wins at local tracks, there were
also several Grands A main appearances.. Along with the highlights being Corey
Andersen's  Senior Honda Grands A main win at the tough Terre Haute Track in Indiana
and also Brandon Traino's 2007 Senior Honda A Main Grands win in Washington. Stinger
had become known throughout the industry as the premier " Dirt Track Quarter Midget",
and was a threat to win whenever it hit the race track.

While Rob's passion was building race cars, his other business ventures were growing
and something needed to give. Even with Joe Leitmeyer and Dave Mueller building
chassis and other fabrication and assembly, Rob
's growing parts business simply would
not allow the time needed to do both efficiently. Sensing the opportunity
, Dave
approached Rob with the possibility of purchasing the Stinger Chassis
Company. A deal
was struck and the assets of Stinger Chassis Company were purchased, along with the
rights to the Stinger design by Dave Mueller and his Mueller Motorsports business. Dave
began building Stingers out of his shop and Stingers continued to win races.

A new beginning for Stinger Chassis

During the winter of 2008 Dave Mueller decided he wanted to go in a different direction
and sold his Mueller Motorsports parts business to Ken Traino of Traino racing. It was
during this time that Steve Boyd of Tiger Racing Team expressed his desire to purchase
Stinger Chassis and continue the success that Rob had built and Dave continued.  A deal
came together just prior to the 2008 racing season and Stinger Chassis and its assets
were purchased by Tiger Racing Team and Steve Boyd. Stinger Chassis company moved
into its new shop in Manchester, NJ were it plans to continue the tradition of winning
races. We would like to thank Rob Andersen and Dave Mueller for their support and
assistance during the transition into this new venture, both will remain available to help
take Stinger Chassis Company into the future. Our philosophy at Stinger
Chassis is to
approach it as a family. The Stinger Chassis family w
orks within the Stinger family of
owners to move forward with our design and development of the chassis. If you
're not
always trying to improve you
're not going to stay ahead of the competition on the race
track. We also want to continue the relationships that Rob and Dave have formed over the
years with other manufacturers. Most of all we want to win races!!!!
